Hello welcome to the Megaman podcast. Okay, before we start let me start out saying this we are not gonna talk prior to the megaman x, exe, or legends series we’re only about the “classic” Megaman series. Besides that, I hope you enjoy the podcast.

For anybody who doesn’t know about megaman, megaman is a widely known game that include stopping the Evil Dr. Wily and his ever-growing army of robots from taking over Earth by using special abilities against them. The classic series was developed by Capcom since 1987 and have been one of the video game industry’s most recognizable icons ever since.

Megaman is a pretty important part of gaming history. Pretty big part of my own history as well. i've been popping in and out of the megaman fandom for years. the simple game series has spawned a pretty large fanbase who have made fanart, remixes and many other works to keep the series afloat. megaman’s popularity has even led to an official comic series!

Amanda

I’ve only started to get in the megaman series and I’ve yet to play the classic series, but so far it’s pretty good .  So I didn’t know there was cartoons for this series until I watched Rubyspears. Oh god… Ruby Spears…. I have exactly no words how to describe it. Like ALL of the robot masters are buff for no reason… no reason

Of course in the classic games everyone is nice and normal looking. Megaman began, and spent most of its classic life on the nintendo entertainment system. Megaman 1 was about a little robot boy named rock having to become “Mega Man” when his father, Dr.Light’s other robots are taken over by the evil Dr.Wily and are reprogrammed to take over the world. the plot of wily trying to take over the world with robots is rinsed and repeated throughout the classic series, though in megaman 2 he starts to build his own robots. his own adorable robots. The mega man 2 robot masters are all blessings.

Oh god she's going through robo hell. Okay, so anyway megaman two has pretty cool robots.My personal favorite would have to be metalman because he’s metalman.

Hetep

and thats all well and good, but the best robot master is Heatman. very small zippo lighter. blessing.

Amanda

Powered up was a remake of the first megaman game, it gave everyone a voice although some were very annoying. Very. Anyway, so I was watching gameplays yesterday and I wondered like how in megaman powered up that elec man sounds like James from Pokemon and protoman sounds like a legit grown up?

Hetep

And they’re the only voices that sound nice! its always jarring to hear proto sound so adult when he’s about the same height as mega, who was built to be, like, ten. eleman sounds nice though, he’s the cutest of the masters in that game.

HE SOUNDS WEIRD ONCE YOU REALIZED HE IS SMALL AND TINY.

Hetep

Very small and deep protobaby. my son. we never do get a concrete age for him, do we? other than “Mega’s older brother” and even thats shakey. he was the “prototype” and all

Amanda

Still, there is no reason for him have a thirty year old voice. None.

Hetep

He can have whatever voice he wants to.

Amanda

No he can not it’s the law.

You’re just no fun.

Anyway Megaman in the New Smash bros. For anyone who don’t know Super Smash bros is a competitive fighting game where you can play nintendo characters such as Mario, link and Pac-man.

Hetep

its about time, maybe the rep’ll give us a megaman 11! maybe. if capcom loves us enough.

Amanda

It would be nice to have new classic game to continue the classic series. With that,I’m afraid we have to go this is Amanda with Hetep and we hope you enjoyed this podcast.
